Bio/Introduction
Hello! My name is Armon Hightower (pronounced ar-mawn). I am 23 years old, and as stated before, I attend Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. My major is in English and I minor in African American Studies. I am currently a junior, but after the winter 2019 semester, I should be a senior. Career wise, I aspire to become a technical writer or a technical editor.

I enrolled in the ENG 5830 course because of my curious nature and wanting to step outside of my comfort zone. Before I made a concrete decision of what I wanted to do after college, my options were between editing, technical writing, and grant writing. Before taking this course, I knew nothing about technical writing. I was nervous performance wise because I was not confident with my style of writing integrating in the course smoothly.

Once doing these projects, the learning process was indeed rocky, but I believe I started improving during the second and third project and beyond. The third project, which involved creating an instruction set on the Wiki-How platform with one other partner. I believe it went well because of how dedicated we were in completing the project ( good communication, layered work, etc.) Another project with experiences I appreciated included the times we worked with a client at Techtown in Detroit.
